About The Prayer Project

The Prayer Project of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria, Abuja Archdiocese began in 2005 with the theme – The Gideon’s Mandate.

For the past four years, we have been dealing with issues that will guarantee our place in Christ here and hereafter. We were charged in 2019 to keep the fire burning with the theme “Until I Overcome” (Rev. 2:26). Those who overcame are to be given a reward – The Victor’s Reward (Rev. 3:21) became our theme for 2020. The year 2021 has Reigning with Christ (Rev. 20:4) as the theme as those who have been rewarded by God will certainly reign with Christ Jesus and in year 2022, the theme was The Joy of the New Jerusalem.

In the year 2023 prayer project, which begins on 31st December, 2022,  our theme is Heaven on Earth as it is now time to manifest the kingdom of God on earth as declared in Matt 6:10.

The objective of the prayer project is to help participants understand what God is saying per time, move them to draw close to Him in total commitment and surrender all to Him in order to receive His abundant blessings as they begin a new year.

The Prayer Project normally begins toward the last week of December, after Christmas, and lasts for about 30 – 35 days each year.

There have been great testimonies of transformation, healing, deliverance, breakthroughs, and conversions.

The Prayer Project is normally carried out using a specially prepared manual to guide the prayers, fasting, and meditation.

The cost of the Manual for this years prayer project is N300. The rise in cost from N200 to N300 was occasioned by the high cost of printing materials.  The manual is mainly for evangelical purposes; aimed at helping many build a close relationship with Jesus Christ.  You can download a free copy below to participate in the prayer project.
